Welcome to Bournemouth Little Theatre

We are an Amateur Theatre Company staging a varied programme of productions in our own theatre in Winton, 2 miles from the centre of Bournemouth.

With our year-round programme of Productions, play readings and workshops we have lots of opportunities to get involved onstage, backstage and elsewhere around the theatre.

This year we have many anniversaries but next year 2019 we celebrate the founding of what is now Bournemouth Little Theatre. It was in 1919 that the Bournemouth Dramatic and Orchestral Club was founded to raise money for returning veterans of the Great War.

Next year we will look back at the founding of the Club, the development of The Little Theatre in Hinton Road and the eventual move to our present home in Jameson Road, Winton. Our celebrations will open with an exhibition at Bournemouth Library tracing the 100 years...
