Talking Heads

Written by Alan Bennett Directed by Rachael de Courcy Beamish

Talking Heads is one of Alan Bennett's most iconic and loved pieces of work.

The monologues are crafted to be comic yet poignant. Each ordinary, everyday character that we see takes us on their personal journey of decline caused either through ignorance or denial in their predicament.

We follow them through their slow realisation of the hopelessness of their situation which will ultimately lead to a sad or bleak conclusion.

We will be presenting A Lady of Letters, Bed Among the Lentils and A Cream Cracker Under the Settee.

The Cast:

Doris: Virginia Harrington
Susan: Jan Smiles
Miss Ruddock: June Garland
