The Comedy of Errors

Written by William Shakespeare

Directed by Don Cherrett

14 - 19 December 2015 at 7.45pm

The Comedy of Errors is the story of two sets of identical twins that were separated in a storm at sea when infants. Years later, Antipholus and his servant, Dromio, from Syracuse, arrive in Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, also a master and a servant named Antipholus and Dromio!

The Syracusans, unknowingly, encounter the friends and families of their twins and a series of events happen based on mistaken identity leading to comical misunderstandings, false accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, demonic possession and ultimate arrest!

A madcap comedy that was the closest that Shakespeare came to writing farce!
