Synopsis:
The action takes place in a rather run-down guest house. Roger & Edna are en route to a special get-together when they get lost and have to spend the night in a guest house.
It is not up to their usual standard and the proprietors, Derek & Lyn, are not as helpful as one would expect.
Alan & Claire are here for a family funeral, but Alan has other ideas, being away from home without the kids.
Ray & Jill are having an affair and have booked a room for the weekend, only it's not going according to plan . . .

SET in Room Eight of a run-down guest house the play follows three couples staying there on different nights. The links are the Proprietor (Russell Biles) and his wife (Pam Goldsborough), who played their respective roles extremely well, especially Pam who also had to make the bed and dust the room to get it ready for the next set of guests.
The first Act was about a couple who had got lost the day before their 35th wedding anniversary and had to stay at the guest house instead of the luxury hotel planned by Roger (Steve Hawker) for his wife (Jenny Sibley). Both actors did well with very wordy parts.
The second Act for me was the highlight of the evening, with Pete Griffiths as Alan Moore giving us some of the funniest moments. His antics with the television that wouldn’t work had to be seen to be believed. Tess Hutton played his long suffering wife.
The final Act was two lovers Ray and Jill played by Adam Donoghue and Rachael Towler. Ray has come to tell Jill that his wife has found out about them and to finish their relationship. Rachael Towler showed us a range of emotions superbly.
