Play Selection 2012/13
The play selection for the next season will be in the hands of the following members of your committee: Don Gent, (who will be chairman), Adrian Matthews, Glanville Noye, Patricia Richardson and Andrew Whyatt.

The objectives for the season are:

To work towards the highest standards in all aspects of the productions;
To seek to produce a balanced programme designed to have broad appeal;
To attempt to select plays which (with the possible necessary exception of any classic pieces) have not previously been done by the Club;
To include, so far as possible, works from the following genres: |
As with the previous selection process we are looking for new plays and directors prepared to direct them but also we invite directors to suggest plays which they would be prepared to direct.
So if you are a director with a mission, bring us your play: be prepared to describe the play in detail, provide us with cast numbers, costume problems and anything else that may affect our decision. But also be prepared to be offered a play to direct that has been previously selected by the committee as one we would like to see produced on the stage.
We also invite members and playgoers to suggest plays which they would like to see produced.
The deadline for submissions is 12th February 2012 but early submission is advised.
